Origami: A Creative Journey

My history as an origami artist has been an exciting journey of discovery and artistic expression. Since my arrival in Berlin from Barcelona, where I closed my former technology services company, my life has taken a surprising turn into the world of origami.

Travelling Art

From 2017 to the present, I have been immersed in the creation of a travelling art installation that has found its home in a variety of unusual and exciting places. I have presented my work in parks, streets, markets, galleries, libraries, cafes, clubs and bars, bringing the art of origami to new audiences and environments. This has been my main activity during this period, and I have experienced great satisfaction in seeing how paper becomes a living, ephemeral expression of art.

Workshops

My journey as an origami workshopper began to take shape in the summer of 2013, and since then, I have shared my passion for origami through numerous workshops. During these years, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with institutions such as the Barceloneta Civic Centre and the company British Summer, with which I maintained a close collaboration between 2014 and 2016. In 2023 I celebrate a decade as an origami workshopper, and each experience has been an opportunity to inspire others to discover the magic of paper.

Performing Arts

Between 2013 and 2014, I explored the intersection between the performing arts and origami in a work entitled “Orimagus”. This unique production combined the world of origami with dance, music and theatre. creating a show that took spectators on an educational journey through places, anecdotes and characters related to the universe of origami and paper.
